BarVision® for Palm OS®
Suggested Metric Values
The BarVision system does not specify (nor does it limit) the unit of measure for numeric values. As a
result, you're free to choose a system of weights and measures. However, you must enter values consistently.
For example, if you use metric units, you must enter both the Max allowed pour size and
Default container size in the same metric unit of volume.
All of the preset values of volume in the BarVision software have been entered in fluid ounces of the U.S.
Customary System. To configure BarVision for metric operation, you must edit the default volume values
to metric alternatives. The following table identifies each default setting that must be changed and
provides suggested metric values.
